Crawford School of Terror, Allen’s Haunted Hayride, Castle Blood and Demon House
Friday Night: Fayette County Haunts
Starting at Crawford School of Terror, 7:00 PM- Includes VIP admission and tour of 3 floors of haunted attractions.
Travel time between Crawford School and Allen’s Haunted Hayride is about 20 minutes
Ending at Allen’s Haunted Hayride- includes admission to Tavern of Terror (Revamped new this year) and Haunted Hayride (World’s oldest haunted hayride: 43rd year of operation.) After checking in at ticket booth and going to bonfire site, members can visit either attraction at their leisure as well as the midway attractions. Members may stay as long as they wish. Includes Bonfire location (fire and 2 picnic tables),
Roasting sticks are included w/ the bonfire. (DAFE may include hot dogs and buns)
Saturday Night: Mon Valley Haunts
Starting at Castle Blood- Includes timed tickets for first tour of evening: 7:00-7:15 pm time slots and tour t-shirt (choose your favorite design and size at gift shop at the end of the tour)
Travel time between Castle Blood and Demon House is approximately 10 minutes
Ending at Demon House- Includes parking/shuttle service to haunt, “Secret VIP” admission to attraction, access to community bonfire, outdoor movie theater, and midway area. *Members may stay at attraction to enjoy the common area for as long as they wish
This event is limited to card carrying members of DAFE and ACE Western PA and their guests.
Cost is $35 for one night or $60 for both nights.
Additional Attractions Nearby
There is a daytime family-oriented Fall area at Triple-B Farms which includes two corn mazes and the “Big Blue Boo Barn” (family-friendly Halloween displays) if anybody wants to do something during the daytime on Saturday in the corridor. (No current info available on which attractions are open or ticket pricing.) There is also a Spirit Store on Route 51 about 30 minutes away from Belle Vernon.
*There are four nationally branded hotels in Belle Vernon, one at the intersection of Route 51 and I-70 (Within 15 minutes of Allen’s Hayride, Demon House, and Castle Blood), and one in Connellsville (less than 5 minutes from Crawford School). There are lots of smaller privately-run hotels along Route 51 in between Allen’s and Demon House and Castle Blood. NOTE: Castle Blood out-of-towners usually stay at the Hampton Inn Belle Vernon.
